Reza Forghani, M.D., Ph.D.

Reza Forghani, M.D., Ph.D. is a diagnostic radiologist and clinician scientist. Dr. Forghani completed his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees at McGill University, with a Ph.D. in molecular and cell biology. He the completed residency trainings in Family Medicine (2004) and Diagnostic Radiology (2008) at McGill University, followed by a 2-year Fellowship in Diagnostic Neuroradiology at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School.
After his fellowship, Dr. Forghani joined the Department of Radiology at the Jewish General Hospital, a McGill University affiliated hospital, in 2010, where he led the development of a research program using dual energy CT (DECT) and later research using radiomics and machine learning. Dr. Forghani’s clinical interests and expertise include neuroradiology and head and neck imaging.
