Find Joy in Movement: Dance for Life Classes Now Open to Fixel Patients

At the Norman Fixel Institute for Neurological Diseases, we believe in the power of movement, community, and joy, and we’re excited to invite you to experience all three through Dance for Life at UF Health.

Designed specifically for individuals living with neurological and movement disorders such as Parkinson’s, ALS, MS, and dystonia, Dance for Life offers both in-person and virtual classes that bring accessible, mindful movement into your weekly routine. Whether you prefer to stay seated or get moving on your feet, these classes meet you where you are with personalized instruction and a welcoming, supportive environment.

🎵 In-person: Thursdays from 10–11 AM at IndepenDANCE Studios
💻 Virtual on Zoom: Wednesdays from 1–2 PM

No dance experience is needed. Loved ones are encouraged to participate too—whether dancing alongside or cheering you on.

Scan the QR code in the flyer to register and receive Zoom links or directions to the studio. You’ll just need to complete a quick waiver and registration form.

Take a step toward greater mobility, connection, and joy. We can’t wait to see you there!
